Soon we realized that the 'image we had of the Middle Ages was not quite correct and, like us, many people thought the same way. So we have set a goal that is to know as much as possible to the real Middle Ages in all its aspects. Studies and research from that period have become a passion for us we are trying to convey to other people, particularly young people. We do this through re-enactments, Themed events and conferences where a dozen people will show you the various aspects of the Middle Ages, from daily life to military life, the habits and customs of the people who inhabit our land eight hundred and more years ago, but we treat the themes of the most dramatic this time as wars, poor hygiene and the resulting diseases which decimated the population, like the plague. We do this by offering you clothing, weapons, everyday objects and their construction techniques, documents testifying to the reality of time and, above all, our knowledge.
The Medieval period is still too broad and rich diversity to be able to master. We focused on a defined period between the twelfth and thirteenth century AD The period of the Crusades, of the 'Italy of Commons divided between the Guelphs and Ghibellines, the great historical figures such as Frederick Barbarossa and his grandson Frederick II, the Stupor Mundi.
do not do as work and do not we profit. What drives us to do this is only the desire to know more about a historical period that has always fascinated as we have been proposed, but that hides reality, and mystery. We want to encourage even the young people to that part of history often overlooked but is the foundation of our contemporary approach them with something concrete that can see, touch and experience that can grow in them a curiosity prompting them to deepen their knowledge, but without forcing them, as often happens at school, with 'only result that is the complete lack of interest.
